+ I intend to book a photoshoot session for my extended family. Would a single slot be sufficient?
For families with more than 7 pax coming for the photoshoot, we recommend the hirer to book two slots to ensure a more relaxed pace of photoshoot. Hirer will also have to take note on the age group of the youngest family member(s) and bear that in mind when making a decision on making a single slot or double slot booking.
Alternatively, hirers can top up $30 per pax on top of base package of 4 pax. If a single slot of 45 minutes is booked, hirers are to expect the pace of the photoshoot to increase proportionately with the number of pax due to additional permutations required to cover within the same time period hired.
The studio will do our best cover all permutations of the family members present and within the time of hire.
+ wHAT DOES A DOUBLE SLOT BOOKING INCLUDE?
Booking of double slots would cover 105 minutes of studio shoot time, up to 8 pax and 30 edited images in digital copies.
Additional pax pro-rated at $30 each (one head = one pax, regardless of pet/baby/child). Additional image pro-rated at $4 each.
All your selected images will be edited. The Love Studios do not provide/sell raw/unedited images for quality control purposes
On our launch day, peak demand may result in the possibility of your preferred date and timing being booked in real time during checkout. In such circumstances, kindly choose an alternative date and timing for your photoshoot session. Bookings are confirmed on a first come first serve basis via Acuity Scheduling.
Once you have successfully made a deposit, you will receive a confirmation email in your inbox indicating that your slot(s) is secured.
+ May I select my preferred photographer?
Yes, you may request for your preferred photographer. Kindly note the rates differ across hierarchies - Director, Senior and Associate Photographers.
Rates will be reflected on every package/set design. You will also be required to confirm on the checkbox of Director, Senior or Associate photographers when you make a booking.
+ What is the maximum number of people allowed in a shoot?
The maximum capacity varies from set to set. For families with more than 20 pax, do email us at hello@thelovestudios.co to enquire.
Kindly provide us with the number of adults and children so that we can assist in determining the feasibility of the photoshoot.
The studio promises to cover the key permutations for large family groups. The pace of shoot will be determined by variables such as:
- the number of adults and children present, and
- the number of permutations needed.
We will not be able to 'photoshop' additional people into a photo.
If you have a helper in your household, your helper is also welcomed to come.
+ What should I take note of before making a booking?
Hirers are to take note of the child's routine and book a slot that avoids their nap and meal times.
Please ensure all attendees are well informed on all details of the photoshoot with information well distributed to them. The Love Studios will only be communicating with the hirer via email/whatsapp prior to their photoshoot.
Hirers are to ensure that all attendees are punctual for the photoshoot. The Love Studios follows strictly based on the booking timing(s).
+ Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit payment to secure your booking is strictly not refundable.
+ What if a family member is unable to attend the photoshoot due to unforeseen circumstances on the date of booking?
Hirers are allowed to reschedule their photoshoot up to 72 hours prior to their photoshoot via Acuity Scheduling. Hirers may click "Change Appointment" via the automated confirmation email to reschedule to their preferred open slots.
In the event a rescheduling is required within 72 hours prior to the photoshoot, hirers have to contact us at hello@thelovestudios.co with their confirmation email to request for rescheduling. There will be an administration fee of $100 for rescheduling within 72 hours for the missed opportunity on the original intended booking slot.
A balance of $100 deposit will hold till your next slot/booking for the next 6 months, with effect from the original date of shoot.
+ Can I reserve a slot?
No, the studio do not take slot reservations or advance booking prior to a set launch. The booking system operates on a first come first serve basis.
+ What should I wear?
We strongly encourage you to wear outfits in white and neutral colours. A style guide is also provided on our website in their respective set web page.
For optimal effect, please avoid wearing dull and dark colours. Please also avoid wearing neon colours, especially red and yellow, as these loud colours can affect skin tones during editing.
We generally do not encourage outfits with loud, messy prints and patterns. Be that as it may, outfits with prints and patterns can be great with proper planning. Such prints and patterns should not be excessive and should be balanced out with clean colours.
Please also keep to a maximum of 3 colours.
+ Is clothing, hair & makeup provided?
Our studio does not provide outfits and attire. Please wear your own ownfit when you attend at our studio for the photoshoot.
Hair and makeup services are also not provided. You can engage a professional to do your hair and makeup at your own premises/home before coming to the photoshoot.
+ Is there a changing room in the studio?
Yes, there is one changing room in our studio.
+ How many sets of clothes can I bring?
There is no restriction on the number of outfits as long as the duration of photoshoot is kept within time of hire.
+ Is the studio accessible for the wheelchair-bound?
Yes. Hirers who have physically challenged participants attending the shoot can alight at the loading bay of the studio location, Four Star Building. There is ramp access to the elevators.
+ May I bring my props to include in the set during my photoshoot?
The sets are been carefully designed to ensure a consistent flow in colour story with furnishing best placed for a balanced composition in the photos. The studio will provide kid's props such as vehicles and rocking horse that can be used for the photoshoot
Hirers are welcome to bring their own props ie, 28” foiled number balloon, or props that align with the visual styling of the set.
Kindly note additional props are optional.
+ I have booked a cake smash session and have ordered a cake from an external vendor. Are we able to arrange a cake delivery ahead of our photoshoot to the studio?
Yes, there is a refrigerator in the studio. Hirers can get in touch with us prior via the email below with their booking details and inform us on the date and time of their delivery. The studio will only accept storage of cakes for not more than 48 hours. The studio will not be liable for any damage of cake(s).

+ Can the photos be used for commercial purposes?
Kindly note that photos from the shoot must not be used for commercial purposes.
+ Does your studio provide graduation gowns?
We do not provide graduation gowns.
+ Are pets allowed in the studio? Is my pet considered as a pax?
Our studio is pet-friendly. Kindly ensure pets are potty-trained. Every pet is counted as a pax.
+ Is my baby or child considered as a pax?
Yes, we count by number of heads present in the studio. Every baby or child is counted as a pax.
+ I'm bringing my baby/toddler, what should I take note of?
Please book a slot that accomodates your baby/toddler's daily routine. Avoid timings that coincide with your baby/toddler's nap and/or meal times.
Additionally, kindly ensure your baby/toddler is well-fed, napped, and dressed in fresh diapers prior to the shoot.
+ What should I be aware of when making my booking?
Please be punctual and arrive on time for your photoshot. As there is no waiting area in our studio, please only come 5-10 minutes prior to your photoshoot as there is no waiting area.
+ Can I purchase the shoot as a gift set?
Yes. To purchase a gift shoot, please fill up the gift purchase form, including the preferred set, name of recipient, contact details and number of pax (adult and or children) attending. Kindly read the terms and conditions before submiting the form too.
+ Can I reschedule my shoot?
Yes, you may do it via Acuity Scheduling from the confirmation email 3 days prior to your allocated slot. If a rescheduling is requested within 72 hours before the shoot, the client has to find a replacement client for a transfer to take up the slot.
Failure to do so will result in a cancellation of the photoshoot / no-show will result in a forfeiture of the full deposit amount made.
+ What is the next set & when will it be launched?
All our curated studio sets are launched progressively for a limited time only. Kindly refer to our website for the available dates for each curated studio set.

+ Are the rates the same as the next set?
Full rates and details will be released during the launch of the studio set on our website and social media.
Kindly note each set design/rennovation costs are different. Thus rates, availability and specific details will only be made known during the set's launch.
+ Can I shoot in multiple studio sets in a single session?
No. You are only able to shoot in the studio set that you have booked for your slot. If you wish to shoot in a different studio set, please make a separate booking and session.
+ Can I rent the studio alone and bring my own photographer or videographer?
The studio is not available for rental.
+ When will I receive the preview/edited images?
You will receive watermarked preview images within 2 days after the shoot. The high resolution edited digital copies will be delivered within 7-10 working days after your selections have been made and communicated to us via Dropbox.
+ Will the images be printed out?
All deliverables are in digital copies. We do not provide printing services/ hard copies.
+ I would like to print the images post photoshoot. May I know the recommended size to print?
The studio do not offer printing services. However, hirers can print their images from external vendors or photo shops when they have received their digital images.
Hirers are to expect the image(s) in the following pixels and resolution, 4100 x 6200px , DPI 300
The recommended printing size is A2 to A3.
Any printing size larger than A2 is not recommended as the photos are being shot in a partial natural lighting studio. The bigger the face(s) occupy in the image, the sharper their face(s) be reflected in print.
+ Can I have all the raw images?
We strictly do not provide any raw images for quality control purposes.
After the photoshoot, our team will filter out the subpar images and send them for you to choose your best images in the quantity reflected on the package requirements. Additional images on top of package requirements can be purchased at $4 per image. All selected images will be edited.
+ What's the difference between "edited" and "retouched images"?
Editing is the basic process of filtering a photo - making changes in colour tones, light, shadows etc.
Retouching involves image enhancing known as Photoshop, on top of basic editing. Typically, retouching involves manipulating one's physical traits e.g. slimming, scar + blemish removal, removal of unwanted background objects etc.
Kindly note retouching fees are chargeable from $4 onwards per image, depending on the extent of retouching.
+ How do I make payment?
A deposit must be made upon booking. The balance payment can be made via Bank Transfer or PayNow upon receiving the final photos together with the invoice.
+ I would like more photos, how are the additional images charged?
Each image is pro-rated at $4 each.
+ Is there anything that I need to take note of when I'm making an outdoor booking?
Book a slot that suits your child's daily routine (i.e. avoid your child's nap/meal times). Travel light on the day of the shoot as we will be moving from point to point during the shoot. Feel free to bring along items like water, tissues, snack/treats, and toys e.g. bubbles. We also welcome helpers to the shoot.
Additionally, we recommend you to wear a pair of comfortable covered shoes. Ladies should avoid high-heels.
+ What if it rains on the day of my shoot?
Our photographer will be in touch with you two hours prior to the photoshoot. If an undesirable weather is expected after checking on weather forecast/judging on coonditions, we may allow you to reschedule the shoot.
+ What are the charges if my outdoor shoot exceeds past the time allocated?
Every additional 30 minutes or part thereof will be charged at $100.
+ I can't decide on the outdoor shoot location, who can i contact to discuss in detail with?

+ How many staff(s) from The Love Studios will be present for our shoot?
There will be ONE photographer assigned to your photoshoot session. The photographer will be only be directing and shooting the participants during the course of photoshoot.
Participants are to take full responsibility on their hair/grooming prior and during the photoshoot. Should they have hired an external hair and makeup artist (HMUA) on set to ensure their hair/makeup are in place, the HMUA can inform the photographer to pause the shoot while he/she makes any adjustment. This action will not affect the time of hire between the hirer and the studio.
The studio do not provide any in-house hair and makeup artist.
